12 months
It's incredible to think that it's been six months since I wrote that it has been six months since I made landfall on Japan's tetrapod-lined shores. Time flies when one is having fun, doing battle with the local fauna etc. etc. Unfortunately too busy to wax lyrical right now, but life has certainly got a lot more interesting.
And at least it isn't snowing (yet).

It's been 12 months already?! It didn't seem like that long to me. And I'm sure it didn't to you :). But I think it's because you mostly notice time passing at the beginning. Then you get used to your new lifestyle and you don't notice passing months.

One thing I have noticed recently is a sudden upsurge in comments evidently originating from Poland which superficially seem to engage in coherent dialogue related to the post in question, but which are evidently only made to promote particular URLs. But what the heck, it's free keyword-rich text :).
