View from the new office

View from the window of the gents' facilities at the new office (taken with the mobile phone, hence the lousy picture quality).

Turned up nice and early (actually hitting the Yamanote Line during the rush hour), anticipating there being lots of Stuff To Do, and no-one was there...

Scientific research ;-). Also the only window with a decent view in that direction.

what kind of research does one do in a toilet with a camera phone? :D

Seeing whether the view is better from there or from the front of the building!

But how do you even GET the idea to conduct such research in the first place?

I'm still scratching my head!

Flowing water has always helped the "thinking process" that's why some people take so long in (under) the shower..

Thank goodness it was only your head..

Contamination: to put this in layperson's terms: I was standing there while the water was flowing when inspiration struck: "hmm, the view from this window is so much better than from the other windows at the back due to it not being obstructed by another bit of building", so ablutions completed I whipped out my mobile and snapped off a quick shot.

Hope that clears up any doubts you may be having!

By the way today I was enjoying the view when another thought occurred to me: "hmm, that is a Boeing 747 headed directly towards me", though it turned out this was nothing personal as shortly afterwards it executed a smart left turn and went on to land at Haneda Airport (well, at least I presume that was what it did).

Well, I'm relieved that's the ONLY thing you thought to photograph while you were in there.

I can imagine the post "Look what I ate yesterday...."

EWWW!!!
