Kenrokuen

Especially for Lina, who posted a penguiny post especially for my humble penguiny person, here some random pictures of the Kenrokuen (兼六園) garden in Kanazawa from 2006.

Looks really peaceful.

The photo's look like they were taken on a sunny day, when were they taken?

Towards the end of May in 2006. It was one of those beautiful days where the sun was out but it wasn't too hot.

The garden was fairly peaceful, but not short on visitors (not visible in the photos, except for the lady in the kimono).

Wow! I'm (almost) speechless.

Very nice, can't wait to finally be there in person. I especially love the 4th photo.

Did it take long for a penguin to waddle through the whole park? ;-p

Not if he was munching on a Penguin Burger at the time!

Lina: I think we were there for two or three hours. It's not actually very big, but there's lots to see.

Contamination: have you ever tried pengin-yaki?
