Nippon Chocolate Biscuits

They're made of rice and covered in a thin layer of chocolate: what better name than "Nippon" for these German-made wafer-type biscuits available in various shapes and sizes from a company called Hosta?

Nippon Chocoloate Rice Biscuits

This is what the actual biscuits look like:

I must admit to quite liking them.

These biscuits are the best! I loved em since I tried em in the '80s and miss them so terribly since I left Germany 8 years ago.
I always buy a pack whenever I go back for a visit.

I have yet to find any chocolate coated rice crackers that would equal these!

I love these too! My grandparents use to send them to me all the time and when I would visit them they always had them waiting. I would buy a ton of them when visiting to bring home. They're the best!

Wow, it doesn`t exist nothing that is better like Nippon! I love them and since I`ve bought another pack last week I can`t stop eating them! I like them `cause they`re not too sweet and rice and chocolate is just a good combination!
I`m very happy that I found that picture so I can show it at "Netlog" and tell everyone how good they are! ;-D
And I am happy that I live in Zurich so I can buy them whenever I want! :-D :-P

That's terrible news. Mind you, I am in Japan now, and do you think there's anything even remotely similar available?
