Blossom in Yoyogi Park

Blossomy things are beginning to blossom in Yoyogi Park too.

Forecast for the next few weeks: vast swathes of pink above acres of blue plastic sheeting.

The blue plastic sheeting being there to catch the pink mess, do you mean? That's very efficient, and I'm already having fond memories of autumnal, leafful plastic sacks on Berlin streets.

Very pretty, though. I might google earth Berlin to see if there are any of them there trees to be found here.

No, the blue plastic sheeting is there to protect the sacred Japanese soil from the profane derrieres of the masses who partake of alchohol etc. beneath the blossoming blossom (or possibly vice-versa).

Make sure you donate the plastic sheeting to the local homeless men so they can fashion it into the housing they have become accustomed.
