Travel Tips: Places to Avoid in Taiwan

Not that I have been to Taiwan yet, but when I get round to it one place I'll definitely be avoiding is Yuanlin (員林), home of the world's first Hello Kitty themed medical establishment. Personally I would rather attempt to disembowel myself with a blunt, toothpaste-encrusted toothbrush than submit to this kind of torture thinly disguised as medical care.

Patients are welcomed by a statue of Hello Kitty dressed in a doctor's uniform, before travelling in a Hello Kitty elevator to a pink examination room with Hello Kitty posters on the wall.

Masochists can view a video news report here (warning: contains scenes likely to cause distress) and check out the obligatory Hello Kitty Hell coverage here.

thank goodness the phone and the wardrobe are normal and they didn't use Hello Kitty phone there.

Now, I wonder whether the stethoscope, forceps and vcacuum had any Hello Kitty on them?

I suspect the phone and wardrobes are oversights which will be corrected shortly.

I don't understand why you are against this company. Hello Kitty can be found on a variety of consumer products ranging from school supplies to fashion accessories.
Hello Kitty has her own branded albumfeaturing songs inspired by Hello Kitty performed a collection of artists, including Keke Palmer and Cori Yarckin.
I think it's great.

That's great, I never knew Greek yacht charter spammers could have the same thought twice within the space of a year. Tragically the URL you attempt to link to seems to have got lost, but keep up the good work!
