@Lina: indeed. I was on my way home tonight and didn't realise I'd forgotten to put my jacket on until I got off at my station.

@TCG: put it this way, Mrs. Penguin just got back from the previous Penguin Base in northern central Europe and commented on how warm, or at least pleasantly uncold it is here. And when the native population starts complaining about how samui it is, I am happy to regale them with tales such as the time we held a barbecue on a frozen lake to put things into perspective.
