No baked beans at 3am?

It appears that Tesco has changed its mind and the  store opening down the road will, possibly in a misguided attempt to upstage 7-Eleven, be open 8 - 12 (aka midnight).

Looks like it's my turn to point out some spam. Not the kind that might be sold by supermarkets that participate in false advertising, mind you.

That place has "closed permanently in 3 months" due to crushing economy and focus meetings where no one points out anything..... EPIC FAIL!!!

Hmm, you must be talking about the grotty supermarket that was there before. Tesco (a major British supermarket chain with international ambitions) is expanding pretty aggressively in the Tokyo area at least.

probably more to compete with Marusho acroos that street, whhich is open until midnight.

And, BTW, I moved to over near Gakushuin, nno longer a close neighbor, I guess.
