Rate mal, wo ich bin

Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn

(German, or Swiss German, which is apparently a closely related language, though they would probably say something more like "rätle mal wo isch bin",  for "guess where I am").

Hint: not in Tokyo :)

Beijing World Expo thingy, at the Swiss pavilion? Have they even got the worn-down platform right?

Surely the Shanghai World Expo thingy is what you mean? In any case, nope, not there.

Um, on the matterhorn gotthard bahn, with small letters?

Oops, er, yeah...

And so? Tenterhooks here...

Well, erm, I've heard of twin towns but never "sister railways"; whatever, one winds its way through the majesty of the Swiss Alps while the other trundles its way through the foothills of Yamanashi Prefecture in the general direction of Mount Fuji.

Your guess was geographically closer than BiB's, so by default you would be awarded the prize, if there was one. (Maybe this torn copy of the Copenhagen S-tog network map which is lying around on the floor here for some inexplicable reason?)

Thanks, but perhaps you're best saving that for a Copenhagen local train map knowledge emergency thing. That, and the fact that I spent several years travelling along all five 'fingers' of the network (it's supposed to look like a hand), peddling my pedagogical wares all over town. Result: I know the system like the back of my hand... which is quite apt, really.

So do they have cows with bells on on Mount Fuji?
